100 Paintings in 1 Week

Lots of people do the 100 paintings in 100 days, or the painting a day for a year, but I'm attempting a slightly more daunting challenge. Pressed for time, as usual, I am currently attempting to paint 100 small paintings in the next 7 days.

I'll be doing the Ocean City Boardwalk Artshow next weekend and need some small pieces to fill out my display. The proposed breakdown is 50 8 x 10 inch paintings, and 50 more of various sizes (5 x 7, 7 x 10, 4 x 6, etc.).

This will be my first time doing this type of show and I'm hoping it will be fun. Hanging out on the boardwalk for three days can't be bad, right? Unless it's raining. Please don't let it rain.

Yesterday I cranked out 11 paintings and I've finished four so far today. I'm off schedule a bit, having figured that I needed to paint 14.28 paintings per day to meet my goal but I'm hoping to catch up today and this evening.

Eighty-five more to go!
